It’s time to start adding content to your website! You’ll learn how the WordPress editor works as you go.

Explore the home page editor while you follow along with the video below.
Open the home page editor. (You may see an Update homepage button in the middle of your dashboard for this. If not, use the Sidebar to click Pages. Then click the page that’s marked “Homepage.”
Explore the editor and add content as you watch the video.
Note: This video uses WordPress.org, so a few things might not apply to your WordPress.com site. The differences between “.org” and “.com” are covered later in this course.
Continue adding written content to the home page until you have the basic layout completed. (Don’t worry about images quite yet; for now you can use the provided placeholders.)
